Back in the early 90's when she set up Amelia Designs designing and making hand painted silk cards, Amelia's idea was to design simple, beautiful, colourful cards which would make people smile. Indeed her unique creative style has, over the last 17 years, brought us many much loved images and characters, and she would like to think, a few smiles.
Her portfolio is full to bursting with bright and cheerful work which is coupled with a strong commercial awareness, and a sense of humour.
Amelia's original paintings are sold through galleries and exhibitions, she supplies her hand painted silk cards to retailers via sales agents, and her images are available for license. She also offers a bespoke design service.
